RESUME
My Name Is Jeremy Root, I am 16 yrs old. I Live in Zephyrhills,Fl. I Go To Zephyrhills High School and I am In
10th Grade.
I race a 1985 Dodge Daytona at Citrus County Speedway, in the 4cyl Mini Stock Class, I also race A 1985
Ford Mustang in the Modified Mini Stock Class. I have been racing since March 2006.
My first race I finished 12th out of 20 cars. My first feature win was July, 29, 2006. I finished 9th in points for
the year. Out of all of my races I have had 1 DNF and only one race I finished out of the top 15.
In 2008 I have 4 heat wins. 1 Feature win
My future plans are to work my way up the chain until I get to Nextel Cup. My hopes are to utilize my ability to
drive a race car, be competitive, and learn more each and every time I get in the seat of a race car.
I enjoy being around my fans, friends and family, as they are my biggest supporters.
My first year of racing at Citrus County Speedway was great, I had some great supporters- David
Reutimann, Buzzie Reutimann, Mom, Dad, Signs By Tina, just to name a few. I race the 00. When my
parents bought my car I asked Buzzie and David if I could run the 00 Because Buzzie and David are my idles
and I hope to make it big just like David and Buzzie.
I have been around racing all my life, My Dad raced until I was 5yrs old. Then we started racing bicycles in
the ABA and NBL. I did that for 5 yrs.Then we bought go-karts. We raced those around home on tracks that
we made ourselves. When I turned 14 my parents went and bought the Dodge. My passiion for racing is like
no other.
