| Feb 2 2008 The first night of racing for the 2008 season was great there where 33 cars this week the car ran very well i was a little lose in the heat race but we fixed that for the feature. I won the heat race this week and finished 9th in the feature. Feb 16 2008 This week of racing was not the best week. We had 28 cars this week we had very bad handling problems tonight in the heat we got turned around going into turn one and finished 6th. In the feature we still had bad handling problems. We come out of turn four and i got turned into the wall it tore the car up but i still finished the race in 14th place. We had a in car cam in the race car Feb 16 go to www.rocketdogracing.com to see the video Feb 23 2008 This week was allot better week. We had 26 cars this week we fixed the handling problems and finished 7th in the heat race. The feature the car was handling great we finished 7th place. March 29 Back from being off for 4 weeks for the fair we finished 8th in the heat and 19th in the feature. April 5 we finished 5th in the heat and 19th in the feature. April 19th we had to fix the car we had a bad wreck we got hit so hard that it bent the rear end have allot of work to do April 26th still trying to get the car back together had to rebuild the back of the car we bent bars and had to replace them. May 3rd we had a family illness so we missed it. May 17 This week we had 25 cars was a good night finished 5th in heat and 8th in the feature We jumped a hill and mowed the grass check out rocketdogracing.com and check out the video. We had a blast. May 24th was an OK night 24 cars finished 4th in the heat and 21st in the feature we had a fluid leak. HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE NEXT WEEK WE ARE DUE FOR A WIN SO CHEER LOUD May 31 I won the heat race The cheering must have worked I finished 20th in the feature I had carburetor issues but we will be back next week and hopefully win a feature for all the fans June 7 I won the heat race again 2 weeks in a row I was running great in the feature I started 5th. I worked my way to 2nd and was right on the tail of the first place car and the rotor button broke my car quit running in turn 3 going for the white flag I ended up finishing 17th. I will try again June 21st We are still due a feature win so cheer load |
